Ruby Grey Qualifies for the World Championships

Everyone at The New Croft & The New Croft Foundation would like to offer a huge congratulations to Ruby Grey on securing her spot at the World Championships in Lakeside this December!

After a fantastic performance at the recent tournament in Budapest, Ruby has achieved her goal for the year - qualifying for the World Championships. Finishing second on the WDF Race Table, Ruby’s incredible consistency and dedication have earned her an automatic qualification spot at one of the biggest stages in the sport.

Ruby will take to the stage at Lakeside on Saturday 6th December from 12pm, where she will face Rebecca Allen in the semi-final.

We are incredibly proud of Ruby and all that she has achieved. Supporting her throughout her journey has been an absolute pleasure, and her hard work and commitment continue to inspire everyone here in Haverhill.

As Ruby continues her rise, exciting new opportunities are being created, both for her career and for partners who wish to support her journey to the top. This is a fantastic moment for local organisations to get involved and be part of an inspiring success story that’s putting our community on the map.

Peter Betts, CEO of The New Croft said: “Ruby’s rise is the result of her unwavering commitment, genuine love for the game, and the hard work she puts in behind the scenes. What’s been truly special is seeing how our community has come together around her, from small local businesses to residents of the Haverhill area. It’s incredibly positive to see so many people inspired by Ruby’s achievements and eager to play a part in her continued success. We’re all proud to have her representing The New Croft and our wider community on the world stage.”
