With the Lakeside World Championships fast approaching, Ruby “The Rocket” Grey is preparing for the biggest stage of her career - a moment made possible through both her talent and the committed support of The New Croft Foundation and other key sponsors.
Over the past two years, our sponsorship has been designed not just to financially support Ruby’s journey, but to actively accelerate it. We recognised her potential early, and we made it our mission to give her the tools, platform, and connections she needed to shine on the national and international stage.

Today, this once-unknown teenager from Haverhill is not only a two-time and current WDF English Open champion and the 2nd-ranked U18 girls' player in the world, but she’s also rubbing shoulders with elite sporting figures. Thanks to the partnerships and visibility our sponsorship has helped create, Ruby now finds herself attending high-profile functions with the likes of Fabio Wardley, Mark Ashton and Kieran McKenna.
With the Foundation behind her, Ruby has gone on to win major titles, including the Belgium, Antwerp, and Latvian Opens, earned a coveted spot in the England Girls Youth Squad, and recently helped secure victory at the European Championships in Holland. On 6th December, she’ll step onto one of the biggest stages in darts, the Lakeside World Championships 2025.
