U16s Crowned Holland Cup Champions on Successful Youth Tour

Our recent Youth Football Tour to Holland gave both our U15 and U16 squads an incredible opportunity to compete internationally, learn and create memories on and off the pitch as a team. After a long weekend of strong performances, the tour ended on a high as our U16 squad were crowned 2026 Holland Cup Champions.

The tour provided an excellent opportunity for players to test themselves against strong opposition, with our squads taking part in fixtures, training sessions and tournament matches across the weekend.

Our U16s delivered an outstanding series of performances throughout the competition, showing quality, teamwork and determination from start to finish. Their efforts were rewarded with victory in the 2026 Holland Cup, a fantastic achievement for the players and coaches involved and a proud moment for the Foundation.

Alongside the success of the U16s, our U15s also performed strongly, competing well against high-quality opposition and representing the Foundation with pride throughout the tournament.

Away from the pitch, players experienced a range of activities including visiting the Johan Cruyff Arena, home of AFC Ajax, where players were able to explore one of Europe’s most iconic football stadiums. The group also enjoyed team meals and a variety of social activities.

We would also like to extend our thanks to those who supported the tour through generous donations - Marian from the Haverhill Youth Activities Trust  and Terry from the Rotary Club of Haverhill. Their generosity helped make the experience more accessible for our players, and we are extremely grateful for their support in helping deliver such a positive opportunity for our young people.

The success of the Holland tour highlights the value of providing opportunities for young players to compete internationally and grow both on and off the pitch. With another exciting trip already on the horizon, attention now turns to our next Youth Football Tour to Belgium in May, where we look forward to creating more opportunities, memories and success for our players.
