Balfour to Share Successful Career Journey at Be Inspired Conference

The New Croft Foundation is thrilled to announce that Lois Balfour, Head of Foundation, will be featured in the Rising Star workshop at the upcoming Women in Football ‘Be Inspired Conference’, set to take place at Wembley Stadium in London from March 12 to March 13, 2024.


Since joining The New Croft in 2022 as a Football Development Officer, Lois Balfour has shown unwavering dedication and passion for her work. Her relentless efforts have propelled her to the position of Football Development Manager and Head of Foundation in 2023, where she now oversees the operation of all foundation programmes, ensuring that football is accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities.


The two-day conference will involve keynote speakers and expert panellists, as well as networking opportunities. Past speakers, hosts and panellists have included Anita Asante, Clare Balding CBE, Jacqui Oatley MBE, Jill Scott MBE and Kelly Smith MBE. This year the lineup includes Emma Hayes OBE, Eni Aluko MBE, David Dein MBE and many more inspirational individuals from both the men’s and women’s game.


Lois has been invited to share her remarkable career journey so far as part of the break off panel session ‘Rising Star’.
